We want Gas Prices in Iraq- .5 Cents a Gallon too Mr. John McCain
John McCain and Sarah Palin would have us continue to spend 10 billion dollars a month while the Iraq people enjoy:
New infrastructure of our rebuilding their bombed out buildings
New Water treatment plants to ensure clean drinking water
New healthcare systems that cover every person living in Iraq.
Gas prices of .5 cents a gallon, Five Cents a Gallon.
Motorists in the United States are paying up to $ 4.00 a gallon for gas and expected to increase dramatically with the constant barage of hurricanes in the south especially Ike and Gustav which hit New Orleans. People in New Orleans last week stood in line ups miles long for 17 hours without water, or food or hydro or shelter. The gas prices in Iraq however will not rise over the .5 cents a gallon price due to the storms in the southern USA.
If we are to believe that a storm in China can send prices soaring here, then why on earth do prices in Iraq remain at .5 cents per gallon? It is said that storms, wars, economic turn downs affect gas prices globally but why are the prices only felt more in North America?
People in Louisiana did not have clean drinking water and no power for weeks. Whereas the rebuilding of New Orleans is a shamble the people of Iraq are receiving the benefits of American involvement in the name of democracy. How democratic is the lack of awareness of the real issues facing Americans in contrast to the obtuse Bush policies and that of John McCain who wished for this madness to continue the invasion of Iraq.
Where have the Bush administrations priorities been concentrated for the last 8 years? In Iraq. Mr. Bush has ignored the collapse of the economy, mortgages, financial institutions, gas prices, food prices, the environment and job creation for the benefits to Iraq citizens. It seems that you can move to Iraq and enjoy a better standard of living than in your own crumbling country.
While Iraq people are enjoying the money flowing into their country and rebuilding while bombings continue our country is falling apart at the seams.
Canadians who produce oil from the tar sands of Alberta with enough oil to last 400 years are paying 1.41 per liter, that’s about $5.64 a gallon.
There is only one solution, let all 230,000,000 of us move to Iraq, than they can come here and deal with the Bush failings and more failures to come with a Palin McCain ticket.
