As election results were revealed protests and violence broke out into the streets in Iran as protesters claiming the election was rigged. The breaking news the Ayatollas or spiritual leaders are calling for a new election that gave the winning votes to Ahmadinejad in yesterday’s election.

” Rafsanjani, known in many circles as the Godfather, responded in kind with an open letter to the supreme leader demanding punishment for the aggression. That was perhaps the fuel on the fire for the streets. The anti-Ahmadinejad protesters felt more secure and confident after the division among the ruling elite became public and the streets went wild with human chains and slogans demanding Ahmadinejad’s resignation.”
Revolution in Iran as a result of the election protesters taking to their streets fighting the police, burning cars and rebellion against the election results. 150 are reported dead in the protests so far as the fighting continues- another election may be needed.
