June 16, 2010 Tylenol recalled again and this time its Johnson and Johnson’s death march including Rolaids have contamination from a plant in Puerto Rico. The company failed to self recall and Johnson did not recall their own products. McNeil Healthcare LLC is a branch of Johnson & Johnson that manufactures Tylenol products.
The Tylenol Recall again would not be necessary if the FDA did their job right or at all, this putting products on the market hoping they won’t kill someone is not safe for consumers. The Tylenol recall mentality is a collective effort on behalf of the government which has become a pimp for the drug companies. Tylenol recall again is again another slap in the face for consumers and makes the government look as ridiculous as Tony Hayward saying he knew nothing about the drilling process. Drug companies are putting people’s lives at risk and the FDA is helping them do it to consumers.
This is added to the recall of Tylenol children’s medication including cold remedies for kids from Tylenol brand name, and many others we reported here. The plain and simple fact is that the FDA is not monitoring drugs, pills, over the counter medications or vaccinations which are all reporting contamination, allergic reactions, sickness and even death in some cases.
Also included in the Tylenol recall again is a much broader recall by the FDA is Benadryl a cold remedy product also made by Johnson & Johnson and Rolaids.

Recalled today are Adult Tylenol, Rolaids, Tylenol Arthritis medications, Tylenol Extra Strength amongst others are reported to have a musty smell. For the Rolaids it is well known Rolaids contains aluminum and other chemicals but the packaging cannot be the reason for recalling Rolaids.
Johnson’s have had five recalls since January, 2010 this is outrageous and is being criminally investigated by the FDA. It is about time the FDA did follow through on its threats to drug companies and put these people behind bars.
Children Medication Tylenol and Motrin Recalls – May 3, 2010
ABC Reports here on the latest Tylenol Recall -June 16, 2010 and it is about time that the FDA did their job.
There is much more here that is not being divulged by the FDA than the packaging smells and it appears the packaging is different for Rolaids. The report points to a lack of quality control, a lack of self recalling which is basically allowing the drug industry to police itself, which is a very high risk policy of the US government. Many drugs are approved by the FDA and are on the market for decades before they are recalled. This gives drug companies a free ride, billions in profits before they are yanked off the shelf. A nasty business similar to the MMS and BP Oil collusion that led to the BP Gulf Oil Leak.
There is a great need for recalling the FDA – overhauling it and getting rid of the cozy relationship between the US government and drug companies mainly through campaign contributions they are allowed to peddle their snake oil to unsuspecting consumers.
