TRAVOLTA TESTIFIES AGAINST BAHAMAS SENATOR
Yesterday began what must be for John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston a very upsetting trial in a Freeport Bahamas Courtroom. The trial involves two Bahamian people who tried to take advantage of two grieving parents and a dead son.
In a corrupt country like the Bahamas is -which thrives on laundering drug company, stolen money, sending drugs to the Miami airport, and a government that puts more money in their pockets while their people starve -it is not surprising. The Bahama tourism commercials of an idealic island with palm trees and sandy beaches hides the secrets of overt corruption in the poverty stricken islands of the Bahamas.
One of the accused is a lawyer who continues to practice law even though she works for the Bahamas government as a Senator with considerable political connections. The connections count when you are in a corrupt and small country where favors are pass back and forth between the players.
One particular Senator by the name of Pleasant Bridgewater took corruption to a new level and is accused by Travolta of committing illegal acts as she is accused of : extortion, and abetment a crime of extorting 25 million dollars from John Travolta which was concocted by an ambulance driver Mr. Tarino Lightbourne. This means that the ex Senator who was stripped of her position and put in jail encouraged and promoted the act initiated by Lightbourne the ambulance driver.
Pleasant Bridgewater an Ex-Senator-Accused of Extortion and Criminal Activities against John Travolta and his family days after the death of his son Jett.
Instead of taking the attempted extortion from the ambulance driver to the authorities Mrs. Bridgewater chose to contact the Travolta attorneys to demand 25 million dollars from the actor to keep a piece of paper from the tabloids. This evidence they proposed to use against the Travolta’s was a medical form signed apparently by Travolta which was to obtain medical attention from the medical services of a local hospital.
Both accused pleaded “Not Guilty” earlier this year when they were arraigned on the charges and Senator Pleasant was stripped of her seat in the Senate of the Bahamas government. The boldness of this couple and their brave and reckless attempt at crime went on to insist they were ” absolutely, positively -1oo percent not guilty”.
Mrs. Pleasant Bridgewater is represented by two lawyers while Lightbourne has two of his own lawyers. The Prosecutor in this case is one Bernard Turner also has two assistants Garvin Gaskin and Neil Braithwaite. So in this corrupt little country the lawyers and the prosecutors might even be related or have joint business ventures.
The jury is stacked with women -six women and three men of the Bahamas which is known for sticking up for their fellow sisters and brothers. The evidence against the two co-conspirators is amongst other witness statements and some video tape. The lawyers for the ambulance driver are asking to get the video tapes but in this country -evidence somehow goes missing. Certainly the Travolta lawyers will not let the evidence out of their hands.
Other witnesses that will be called is a man named Allyson Maynard-Gibson a member of the same political party The PLP party as Mrs. Pleasant Bridgewater and Bimini OBie Wilchcombe who was a friend of the Travolta’s but is not at present.
John Travolta testified today that he tried to revive his son by applying CPR as Jett had no response on the morning of his death which was a few days after New Years Eve. The Travolta family spent the New Years on the Island and have a home in Freeport.

Investigators are looking closely at a certain Bahamian lawyer, besides Pleasant Bridgewater a former Senator in the Bahamas Government.
A crooked Bahamian lawyer, allegedly involved in money laundering, is responsible for hack attacks on the BahamasB2B website over the past two years.
New information has surfaced linking St. Augustine’s College, Graham Thompson law firm and Galleria Cinemas to the repeated attacks.
This new information, coupled with strong evidence which details the hiring of the hacker by a Nassau Bahamas businessman, have investigators looking closely at a certain Bahamian lawyer who has connections with all three entities.
Should the attacks not cease immediately, BahamasB2B has promised to pursue criminal charges, both in the Bahamas and in the United States where their server is located.”
All told we hope John Travolta gets justice and puts these people behind bars for life -for what would have constituted torture for the actor and his family at the untimely death of his only son Jett. The couple and their daughter have been reclusive for the past year preferring to handle their grief in private.
