Tears for Neda -Prince of Iran Rebukes Government

It seems that Twitter has taken over the social networks for the Iran revolt against their last election results but this goes further than the election. The change represented by the youth of Iran is now being broadcast on the social networks on the internet. Twitter has taken center stage and has become one of the only networks for the world to see the brutality and death of a young Iran woman Neda. She has become the symbol of the revolt against the Supreme leader and currently the President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The legitimacy of his election win is now in question and few world leaders would recognize him as a leader in his own country. The voices heard in Iran shouting from the rooftops and the old women being beaten by the military and police will not stop. In fact this revolt is more about women’s rights, freedom and the fact that the Iran youth seek a different vision for their country.

The US and other countries media personnel have either been imprisoned, or kicked out of the country and all news media has been blacked out, twitter has been jammed with high volumes of tweets both from within and outside of Iran. The images are frightening of Neda dying and the Prince of Iran choked back tears in his condemnation of the Iranian government and asked them to stop brutalizing their own people.

The shouting, the demonstrations in the street, and upcoming strike set for Tuesday June 23, 2009 will show the world how defiant old women and kids can be but more importantly how much people are fed up with corrupt governments every where in the world and the world is watching and tweeting about it.

The Previous Iran Revolution- 1978 Death to the Shaw is now death to the Supreme Leader as Iranians seek democracy once again.
