Cheney Indicted in Texas for Criminal Activity

Impeach Cheney First

HOUSTON (Reuters) – A grand jury in South Texas indicted U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney and former attorney General Alberto Gonzales on Tuesday for “organized criminal activity” related to alleged abuse of inmates in private prisons.  The indictment has not been seen by a judge who could ulimately dismiss it.

The grand jury in Willacy County, in the Rio Grande Valley near the U.S.-Mexico border, said Cheney is “profiteering from depriving human beings of their liberty,” according to a copy of the indictment obtained by Reuters.

The indictment cites a “money trail” of Cheney’s ownership in prison-related enterprises including the Vanguard Group, which owns an interest in private prisons in south Texas.  Former attorney general Gonzales used his position to “stop the investigations as to the wrong doings” into assaults in county prisons, the indictment said.

Cheney’s office declined comment. “We have not received any indictments. I can’t comment on something we have not received,” said Cheney’s spokeswoman Megan Mitchell.

Christian World Daily Inciting Suicide Bombers

The World Net Daily published a post on November 5th which is entitled

“Wanted: Suicide bombers to Attack US., which is a very inflammatory title for an article.

The article written by one Chelsea Schilling is supposedly written in such a manner as to attract website visitors but in essence it is enticing terrorist to attack us which is disgraceful.

In terms of our ability to handle an attack at this time, when the Bush administration has left this country in shambles is inviting the destruction of our country but more so, at a vulnerable time during a transition of government.

Ms. Schilling reports that terrorist groups are recruiting in Iran for “fighters in the worldwide front against Global Arrogance” and as she implies that means the United States.

The flyers being circulated to young recruits are being circulated in Tehran by Hezbollah the Lebanese group and read ” Registration for Martyrdom Operations” and it does not imply the United States. The pamphlets distributed in Iran could be recruiting for attacks on Israel not the United States.

This type of reporting is not only inflammatory but incites all the radicals who believe this country should be attacked again. Rather than promoting peace, through negotiations, and tactics that do not inflame the radicals this supposed “Christian” group are hatefully inciting attacks on the United States by promoting this literature.

The World Net Daily is not the department of defense, it is not the Secretary of State, and it certainly is not the world authority on whom terrorists will or will not attack. The World Net Daily should concentrate on more Christian values such as: peace, hope, love and loving your brother rather than hating him.

Dick Cheney Endorses McCain Palin for President

He waited for the last three days of the entire election to endorse McCain Palin ticket of his own Republican Party but Dick Cheney finally endorses his old friend
John McCain.

While McCain trails in the polls days away from the election Cheney believes this will help him win. He says about Palin that she has “executive talent, toughness and common sense to be our next Vice President Sarah Palin”. Applause applause.

If I were Johnn McCain I would not want the endorsement of a Dick Cheney or a George Bush and this gives the Obama campaign more fodder for the last few remaining votes out there. There should be a drop in his popularity in tomorrows polls as we await election results just days away.

Stevens- Palin Alaska’s Culture of Corruption

Senator Ted Steven’s Alaska’s Republican Senator for over 40 years has been convicted of 7 counts of violating ethics laws yesterday.
Stevens received thousands of dollars upwards to $ 250,000.00 in gifts, services and renovations to his enlarged Girdwood Alaska home.

While reading the verdict Stevens sat glumly and afterwards outside the courtroom urged voters to vote him in again for a 7th term.

Obviously Ted Stevens -just doesn’t get it and in the face of the law doesn’t seem bothered by his verdict.

In terms of the upcoming election Stevens name is still on the ballot and it will be interesting to see if Alaska voters will vote for a convicted felon to represent them in the Senate. One would say the economy is far too important to risk a felon who will be jailed at one point for his crimes.

Senator Stevens says he has done nothing wrong and has no use for the massage chair, from an oil service friend Bill Allen, or the renovation of his house which now includes two decks, a new garage, a whirlpool room, a steam room and an expensive gas grill.

Ethics do not stop Ted Stevens and since he has been in the “political game” for over 40 years he has had 40 years of opportunities for more graft and political payoffs. IT would be no surprise if Teddy has been doing this for all his political life.

If he loses the Democrats will have one more seat in the Senate to ensure a filibuster-proof majority which would help the agenda of Barack Obama.

If Stevens wins his seat, he will be held accountable by the Senate and can be expelled by a two thirds vote from his colleagues. In history men who have faced this expulsion usually resign before a vote is undertaken by the Senate.

Both Governor Sarah Palin who said “Stevens will do what’s right for the people of Alaska” and McCain who has called for him to resign have weighed in on the verdict.

Palin took shots at Stevens saying that it “shines a light on the corrupting influence of the big oil service company that was allowed to control too much of our state. It was part of the culture of corruption I was elected to fight. And that fight must always move forward regardless of party or seniority or even past service.”

Governor Palin must also remember that her push for the big Pipeline for Alaska project which is 10 years away, would benefit big oil, and she has hired a lobbyist to push governments to invest in her husbands’ employer -BP Oil.

And the corruption continues in Alaska.

Palin Too Mavericky for McCain

Palin Too Mavericky for McCain

McCain’s Republican party aides leaked out that Sarah Palin is going “rogue” on John McCain and the GOP campaign is becoming more unraveled days before the election.

Insider reports including those of CNN and McCain aides leaked out that Palin is going off message, and is setting herself up for her own run at the Presidency in 2012. The diva of the Republican party is maybe “a little too Mavericky” for John McCain and the wheels are falling off the campaign in these last few days before the November 4th election.

Now that inside aides of her own party are commenting on the dramatic change in Sarah Palin’s bucking their strategy that put her into the political spotlight she takes advice from no one.
Why this information is being leaked out now, could be that the party is angry, or plotting to push her off the ticket. The blame games begin as the McCain Palin ticket sinks deeper into a severe loss in the November 4th election.

For those that think Sarah Palin could have any chance at winning the Presidency in four years the review of her low favorability ratings and the blame for killing this GOP ticket indicate otherwise.
The “maverick image” did not work with voters since this is not the time to bet on a long shot unknown power hungry woman who was to appease the disenfranchised Evangelical Christians and Hillary Clinton female voters.

The undoing of Sarah Palin also began with her abuse of power in using her office to fire her brother-in-law in Trooper gate. Her angry denials and intolerance for what she called the “liberal elite media” was not winning any points with voters. Palin was never really vetted until she made a speech at the Republican National Convention.

The expensive measure to educate Miss Sarah and dress her up in designer clothes to the tune of              $ 175,000.00 in two months did not work well with the “Wal-Mart hockey mom” image she tried to pull off.

Some will bet she makes off with the clothes when she high tails it back to Alaska after the election.
Her attempts at imparting Christian values while her daughter was pregnant at the age of 16 years did not work. Palin’s call for a constitutional amendment to defining marriage between a man and a woman was another example of her conservative and archaic anti-gay policy.

The Hillary supporters saw through this phony strategy and many were insulted that the GOP thought a inexperienced moose hunter from Alaska could ever take the place of Hillary Clinton.?The straight talk express just could not break in the maverick in Sarah Palin and Sarah Palin could not stand with John McCain the wavering flip flops and suspensions of his campaign. Palin is said to have disagreed with her handlers and strayed from the message strategy in these last few weeks of the election campaign.

Together they provided good theater, a boost for SNL ratings and a good laugh for the American voters. Neither John or Sarah was emotionally stable to become leaders of the free world and at times both became psychopathic, narcissistic and without a firm grasp of the reality of economic issues that are a priority with voters.

McCain Practically Concedes the Race

John McCain practically concedes the election race to the Whitehouse and is down in all polls just days away from the election.

It appears his negative campaigning with attacks on Obama about Joe the Plumber who is not really a licensed plumber and who owes the state of Ohio back income taxes. Joe is a guy who doesn’t believe in paying taxes.

The attacks about Ayers are not founded on fact and then Sarah Palin hitting up the taxpayer for lavish family vacation trips under the guise of accompanying her on her campaign trail.

It appears Mrs. Palin wants you the taxpayer to pay for her nights sleeping at home while she bills you for hotel accommodations and expenses. She has since September changed those records that were initially released to show these per diem expenses.

That does sound like a maverick, but do we need the Palin’s of this world racking up more fake billings at taxpayers expense?
With days to go before the general election more Americans are seeing the light of the two candidates for the GOP and there is definitely a shift to the Obama side.
