Aug. 18, 2010 FDA and Salmonella Egg Recall
The total amount 220 million eggs currently on your grocer’s shelves have been recalled due to the FDA’s failure to monitor the food supply.
Another recall last week and the week before illustrates the FDA is too preoccupied with shutting down adult stem cell clinics to be bothered with protecting Americans from food poisoning.
Eggs infected with the salmonella bacteria are produced in Galt, Iowa but are sold across the country to major grocery and retail stores.
The FDA has failed again today to practice safety in our food supply and again another recall with another industrialized egg farm known as : Wright County Egg.
CONSUMER WARNING ON EGGS SOLD IN THE UNITED STATES
THE EGG LIST – DO NOT BUY THESE EGGS:
Dutch Farm Eggs
Farm Fresh Eggs
Mountain Dairy Eggs
If you also purchased the egg white products or liquid eggs in a carton you would be wise to return them to the store and get a refund.
This is totally unacceptable as far as how consumers cannot rely on their own government Food and Drug Administration that continues to fail to do their job.
The FDA has given up on inspecting foods and has washed its hands of all contaminated foods rather they allow these products to be sold on the market to unsuspecting consumers. People are playing russian roulette by purchasing foods that could cost them their lives with severe and possible deadly consequences.
SYMPTOMS OF SALMONELLA POISONING
The symptoms may not appear for 3 days but the major symptoms are:
allergic reactions, food poisoning, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, fever, headache and stomach cramps or more severely food poisoning which could lead to death. Be aware that children may need to go to the hospital and seek medical help.
HIGH RISK GROUPS FOR SALMONELLA POISONING
The elderly, children and those with weaker immune systems cannot fight off the bacteria as quickly as healthier adults.
FDA FOOD RECALLS For a complete list of all the foods recalled almost daily or twice a day the FDA is only putting out alerts after the fact. If the FDA food inspectors done any inspections at the Wright County Egg Company this could have been avoided. The FDA is just not doing their job and are ignoring the filth in large feed production farms that have made profit their goal instead of healthy products for consumers.
RECENT FDA FOOD RECALLS
August 13, 2010 Wright County Egg= Salmonella
August 13, 2010 Goya Foods- health risk frozen mamey
August 10, 2010 Washed Salads -Veggie Lover Salads
August 9, 2010 Strong America Ltd- sulfites in dried potato
August 6, 2010 South Bend Chocolate- un-declared nuts
August 6, 2010 Queso Cotija Cheese-Staphylococcus aureus bacteria
This is just to name a few and as you can read they are multiplying by the day as the FDA fails to complete any inspections of dirty foods in America. The worrisome part is that foreign foods are ten times worse and are not inspected at all. As with the Chinese melamine milk found on US soil these products also were poisonous to infant babies and caused deaths and sickness in China.
In conclusion: The FDA’s mandate is to protect the American consumer from being poisoned by their own food consumption. In today’s world the FDA relies on the industries to police themselves which is a high risk game of what the food manufacturers can get away with in their products. It puts society especially children at high risk for : Death by consuming basic food.
