The debate is heating up and Shepard Smith opens up more contraversy in the waterboarding torture methods of the Bush administration and who gave the okay.
The terrorists certainly deserved punishment but the US does not torture- listen to Shepard Smith getting seriously angry at the memorandums which authorized torture.
Waterboarding 125 times – the George Bush administration approved and allowed torture of prisoners. The argument is what constitutes torture and what doesn’t but this does not tell us who authorized it. Watch as Shep goes nuts on the very idea that the US tortures prisoners.
George Bush often said he would do anything to protect his country and as he stood with the flag drapped around himself he broke the law, made up his own laws, overstepped his own authority and give himself the power to enact just about anything he wanted as President.
