Protection against Swine Flu Virus

The hand sanitizer business is booming today due to the Swine Flu Virus but are there other ways to protect yourself against the swine flu virus? There are natural substances you probably have in your kitchen that  are totally natural and kill viruses and bacteria.  There are in fact many substances that kill viruses including pure oxygen and natural herbs and vitamins.  Vitamin D has also been studied for its anti-cancer protection and if it can protect against cancer it can certainly protect you against a flu bug.

The Medical News Today site recent reports cinnamon oil is known to be used as a environmentally safe pesticide.   Cinnamon oil is used to ward off mosquito problems and kills their larvae as well as the yellow fever mosquito.

Cinnamon oil is also reported in the New York Times as an anti-bacterial and a study by Science Direct show that the essential oil made of cinnamon can fight hospital acquired germs like streptococcus strains, candida,  and stafpylococcus  germs and strains.  Also essential oils were shown to be effective antiseptic against MRSA and other antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria found in hospitals.  Tea Tree Oils, Eucalyptus, Thyme, Sage and other herbs were tested for these benefits also.

“Hospital-acquired infections and antibiotic-resistant bacteria continue to be major health concerns worldwide. Particularly problematic is methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and its ability to cause severe soft tissue, bone or implant infections. First used by the Australian Aborigines, Tea tree oil and Eucalyptus oil (and several other essential oils) have each demonstrated promising efficacy against several bacteria and have been used clinically against multiresistant strains.

Several common and hospital-acquired bacterial and yeast isolates (6 Staphylococcus strains including MRSA, 4 Streptococcus strains and 3 Candida strains including Candida krusei) were tested for their susceptibility for Eucalyptus, Tea tree, Thyme white, Lavender, Lemon, Lemongrass, Cinnamon, Grapefruit, Clove Bud, Sandalwood, Peppermint, Kunzea and Sage oil with the agar diffusion test. Olive oil, Paraffin oil, Ethanol (70%), Povidone iodine, Chlorhexidine and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) served as controls. ”

Another study in France had the same results for essential oils and their ability to prevent bacterial activity for those who cannot take antibiotics or have tried them and failed.

The French study showed that : cinnamomum verum bark had the highest antimicrobial activity particularly against resistant strains of bacteria and germs was studied in January 2008.  These are scientifically proven studies in how essential oils can fight hospital germs and bacteria and are proven to work.  For those who are chemically sensitive these are a great product to use to prevent sickness, bacteria and germs.

The history of a particular blend of essential oils that dates back to the bubonic plague in the early 1400′s which was a plague that killed half of Europe could be the just the ticket for the swine flu virus today. Since we now have a man made plague  manufactured swine virus we can use what they used in the 1400′s and easily cure the swine virus without harmful effects.

Back in the day there were four thieves that were apprehended for robbing dead people that had died of the plague  and others who were still alive but dying of the plague. There were thieves who worked in the perfumery business during the day and at night they went out and robbed the victims of this disease.  It is sort of what is happening in America today where those less fortunate are picked clean by the healthier thieves.  The thieves would take whatever they could take away from the sick and dying many of them collapsed in the streets.  These men were eventually apprehended and brought to trial for their crimes.

The judge in the case was curious as to how these thieves managed to rob the plague victims without contracting the illness themselves.  He made a deal with the thieves to be lenient if they revealed their mysterious secret recipe to prevent the plague.

The thieves revealed that they used a special combination of oils that they rubbed on their hands, ears and temples made of herbs that included cloves, cinnamon, rosemary and lemon oils. The mixture is rubbed on these areas of the body to prevent exposure to the plague even though it is and was airborne.  These elements are called Essential oils today and they work to fend off air borne viruses just as they protected the thieves from contracting the plague centuries ago.  Thieves Oil blends can be purchased through the internet or made at home.

The history of thieves oil dates back to even Roman times and even King Tut had the oils buried with him along with his gold.  Unfortunately for King Tut -thieves stole the oils and left the gold when they raided his tomb.  You have heard of Frankincense and Myrrh from the Bible as important herbs used in the daily life of Jesus and they are still used in churches as a scent that is burned at funerals to “purify” the body before burial as the Catholic Church does for their funeral ceremonies.

This blend of essential oils has a 99.9 percent success rate in killing air borne bacteria which would work for hospital sterilization and keeping patients free of viruses.  See  Natural Home Made Hand Sanitizer

Thieves Oil can be made at home or purchased through the internet or your local herbalist store.

  3. Tammie Lavigne says:

Our body and essential oils interact in numerous ways. First, it gets to our skin where it is being absorbed. It breaks into our epithelial tissues which includes our skin, nasal passages, bronchioles, lungs and gastro-intestinal tract.
