Several Pastors in California are banning marriage period. This is their way of upholding California Supreme Court decision to ban marriage for a segment of the population. They will not be officiating any marriages at their Churches.
The Reverend Anne Cohen and Reverend Art Cribbs have more to say:

No Marriage for Anyone – THAT’S Equality!
So, the big kids in charge wanna play around in my sandbox after I asked them politely not to. Now everything is a hot mess and there’s 2 different classifications of gays: married and not allowed to get married. I mean, really?
We’re way too awesome to allow this to happen. Some clergy in California believe as we do as well.
This is beautiful.
(Psss….karma’s a bitch).
Now, let’s take it nationwide!

Totally – It seems there are the classes in society that believe equal rights are only for them, others must be resigned to living a life out of the boundaries of the law. Seems we went through this in history many times and again – equality wins out. In the last round -blacks were not allowed to marry whites, blacks were not allowed to ride the bus, women were not allowed to vote – even in 2009 -the California Supremist Court plays with the legality of banning marriage for minorities. Shocking but – as in Canada, and Spain and England
Gays are equally entitled to all ramifications of the laws of marriage. Keep up the good fight- we will get there.
