Obama Bow Causes Controversy

It has been a week since President Barrack Obama toured Europe and came home with Michelle touching the Queen (mutually touching the Queen while the Queen touched back) and now the President is being chastized for what appears to be bowing to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.

We can go back and see the footage of the then President Bush holding hands with King Abdullah and giving him a kiss which outraged democrats everywhere.

Is Obama trying to downplay the last eight years of what was George Bush’s snubbing of the rest of the world or is this a new leader trying to make friends again with important figures that affect the US economy?

The Saudi’s still have us by the throat with oil dependency and our dollars still continue to make the Arabs rich by fill their coffers with our thirst for oil.  The problem being is that Americans still continue to demand gas driven vehicles which demands every increasing barrels of oil is more importantly an outrage that no one complains about here.

But it appears as usually the case that when you achieve world popularity -there is always a conservative backlash against the current President in power that demands the US President be a snob and not embrace the cultures of other world countries.  There is the testosterone fueled arrogance that still prevails and drives people to continue to see Americans as this great super power that is fully indebted to the world for its very existence.
