The very last person Michael Jackson saw alive was his own physician who is now identified as one Doctor Conrad Murray. One would suspect in an overdose case that your own doctor would not be present but in Michael Jackson’s sudden death -what went terribly wrong?
Apparently Michael Jackson died in his doctor’s arms unable to breath and enduring cardiac arrest. The investigation intensified since the good doctor’s BMW was towed away by police at the scene of Jackson’s rented estate in Los Angeles on Friday. Police started searching for the doctor who had left the scene after Jackson died. This all makes the doctor look very suspiciously involved in some way with Jackson’s death. The fact that Michael Jackson was addicted to pain killers was common knowledge and his own family had tried to get him in a rehab program.
Other statements complied in the last 24 hours came from his ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley who stated that Michael had often thought “he would go out the same way as her father”. This meant that Jackson knew he was hopelessly addicted to prescription drugs much like Elvis Presley who died of an apparent overdose of drugs. Elvis was known to be taking a lot of drugs before he died. Anne Nicole Smith was also addicted to prescription drugs and her death came after years of taking prescription medication from a doctor who has been investigated. Anne Nicole had up to 11 drugs prescribed to her before her death and was always getting more drugs from her doctor.
The addictive character of some of these narcotics and the fact that they are very powerful makes people very susceptible to taking more and more quantity to achieve the relief of sometimes very difficult emotional pain.
Apparently Dr. Murray tried to revive Jackson to no avail as he stopped breathing before the arrival of paramedics or the fire department.
The doctors car was towed which may contain medications that the police are investigating in the death of Michael Jackson. The toxicology reports on Michael’s body will not be released for a few weeks which will determine what was in his blood and tissues at the time of his untimely death.
The facts are that Michael may have had other sources for his prescription drugs and perhaps had more drugs in his system and Dr. Murray added to the mixture with a shot of Demerol. Jackson has been in pain for years from a broken leg and a back problem. It is now know that Jackson required a daily dose of demerol and was addicted to morphine and other pain medications such as Oxycontin.
Dr. Murray has hired an attorney and was questioned by police today June 27th, with his lawyer present regarding what happened and what events occured leading up to the death of Michael Jackson. Dr. Murray and another person were in the room when the 911 call to emergency went out from Jackson’s rented home. The other person is not identified but did state that Jackson was on the bed. The person then went on to say that the doctor was administering CPR on the bed which is the wrong procedure. When trying to resuscitate a person they must be on the ground or a hard surface and not a bed which is too soft.
The fact that the doctor did not do the proper procedure could be a factor in the death but also what narcotic did Dr. Murray inject into Michael Jackson? If this doctor was injecting demerol or morphine daily -would he not lose his license to practice medicine or is this entirely legal in California? Michael Jackson although he was in some pain -was not a soldier returning from Iraq in excruciating pain for injuries sustained on the battlefield. Why did any doctor give him the drugs -that could potentially kill the patient?
Oxycontin alone provides 24 hour relief from pain but Jackson was also getting demerol by injection from his doctor. Oxycontin is an opioid drug similar to morphine, codeine and heroin which are highly addictive prescription drugs. Signs that a person is overdosed with oxycontin is the symptoms of shallow or slow breathing and an overdose can lead to death.
Oxycontin is a highly addictive drug that if you stop taking it you will go into drug withdrawl and as the Jackson family was trying to get Michael into a rehab program for drugs -it is highly likely that Michael was already addicted to these drugs quite earlier on in his life.
Did Michael Jackson have a heart attack as a result of the demerol shot? Did Michael Jackson have an overdose of demerol that lead to a cardiac arrest? If the cardiac arrest happened moments after the shot -what contributary factors can be assessed as to the doctor being responsible for the death? So many questions the police investigators have to get the answers to but it does seem suspicious that the doctor would leave the scene, leave his car behind and not contact police? He did not remain to answer questions or assist his patient to the hospital?
Then the doctor hires a lawyer when answering questions by police which is entirely not normal unless their are charges pending. The mysterious death of Michael Jackson continues to play on -even after his death he will be remembered by his fans.
