Limbaugh out rants Conservatives
Rush Limbaugh most recent rant that he wishes President Obama will fail has causes controversy even amongst Christian Conservatives such as Pat Robertson. Robertson denounced Limbaugh’s statements by saying “if the president fails, the country fails” and that any person who would say this is “not thinking rationally”.
Limbaugh is of the opinion that we who rallied behind President George Bush in his first 40 days attacked him in this manner which is simply not true. Limbaugh tried to cover his lack of common sense by saying he doesn’t understand what all the fuss is about even as Americans are struggling against the tide of economic gloom.
At the CPAC conference he again repeated the comments that he wished Obama would fail, stating that government growth would lead to a European state of welfare.
What Mr. Limbaugh doesn’t get is that if more people fail and go into deeper layers of poverty it brings the whole country into the ditch let alone the bus that drove them into it. Mr. Limbaugh doesn’t get that healthcare is an individual right and he fails to get that education needs funding. Limbaugh doesn’t think that roads, schools and bridges need to be repaired instead of crumbling under the Bush years. What Mr. Limbaugh really fails to grasp is that it was the Republican government that declared war in the wrong country and continued to spend beyond its means, to finance a war in a foreign country but the same government must not invest in America.
The conservatives have found a voice in their attack on the stimulus package which of course no one recalls was commenced during the Bush administration. The entire chaotic deregulation of the banking industry falls into the laps of the republican administration that governed the country into the ground, and who are now seeking vengeance for the Bush unpopularity for eight years.
Even Jeb Bush has voiced his opinion of Limbaugh’s attack saying “its not right for our country, its not going to help us and its not going to help Republicans” which is all true.
This last Limbaugh lash out at the CPAC conference on February 28 is digging a deeper hole for the Republican Party and makes the comparison between Bush and Obama like- night and day.

Limbaugh Wants President to Fail at CPAC Conference
I have mixed feeling about limbaugh. Although I don’t agree with a lot of what he says he does stir up controversy and at least gets conversation going. Wishing a president to fail though is definitely wrong……
