Thousands of boxes of water, food and clothes sit idle at the Haiti airport and planes arriving with aid and a very slow to respond Haiti government is causing almost riots from the Haiti people who are starving.
The more this aid is delayed will cause more civil unrest from a nation that is basically at the mercy of waiting on its own government for help. Children die daily and adults losing patience are scrabbling at the back of trucks where aid is being “administered” at a very slow pace on the orders of the Haiti officials when they decided to move it out to the displaced city of Port-au-Prince.
What would be better than this distribution system is to have stations throughout the cities what will actually have food stands as there are 45 tons of food such as beans, rice, oil and other food items.
Meanwhile a Haiti girl has beaten the odds against death and was pulled from the rubble 14 days after the quake and the 16 year old girl was rescued alive.
