“KABUL — Dozens of young women braved crowds of bearded men screaming “dogs!” on Wednesday to protest an Afghan law that lets husbands demand sex from their wives. Some of the men picked up small stones and pelted the women.
“Slaves of the Christians!” chanted the 800 or so counter-demonstrators, a mix of men and women. A line of female police officers locked hands to keep the groups apart.
The warring protests highlight the explosive nature of the women’s rights debate in Afghanistan. Both sides are girding for battle over the legislation, which has sparked an international uproar since being quietly signed into law last month.”

Afghan Women Protesting Suppressive Laws of Allowed Rape
The similarities with the public stoning of Judge Sonia Sotomayor by republicans on the Judicial Committee who first threw stones in the media via the Rush Limbaugh method of attack and now with days of public denouncements including a plaintiff appearing will have republican strategists in a great deal of anguish in 201o with Hispanic voters.
Thanks to Fox News shedding light of the rights of women which must be upheld in foreign countries but never within the boundaries of the United States. The control republicans demand over a woman’s body and life extends to the Supreme Court and the imbalance of republican judges decisions have long thrown stones on women for far too long.
