The republican party has made it clear enough by their no votes thus far in the new administration that they are not supporting a co-op plan either. In fact they just will not support any democracy when it comes to health care.
That is unless you live in “Iwrack” since Americans are paying for the health care of every Iraqi man, woman and child in a foreign country.
Iraq has universal health care -the US does not and will not cover their own people. How disgraceful a society that does not look after its own people, and yet they invaded Iraq because of how Saddam treated his own.
Double standards do not work anymore in a democracy and the faked outcry with guns waving in the air is all the hot wind fanned by people like Sarah Palin, John McCain, Dick Armey, Mitch McConnell and that Iowa cornball Grassley.
No the American policy of denying basic health and medical care to its own citizens is a world wide disgrace and they should be ashamed that their own greed supercedes the rights under the constitution they so bravely wave in the faces of Democrats to carry guns -but for got the one clause that means more : the right to Life itself.
No bible banging Republican can make the case that their rights come before the rights of others-not unless you live in the totalitarian state of the republicans.
