Al Franken Wins Minnesota Election-Again

Finally Al Franken by way of the longest legal battle in history for Minnesota is getting to do what the people of Minnesota elected him to do -take his seat as the Senator from Minnesota in a hotly contested court battle from the Republican contender Norm Coleman.

The Supreme Court Judge determined Al Franken to be the winner despite Coleman’s wishing some uncounted absentee ballots which were determined to be optional would have required the judge to assume the ballots were legal.

The Republican party blew 1 million dollars to fight Al Franken’s win and supported fund raising for legal fees in their own party.
