Your baby is too fat and therefore cannot be covered by the Rocky Mountain Health Plan in Colorado. The baby was cited as being “too fat” and therefore a high risk for insurance coverage because of its weight.
The height of the health care reform and some one did not inform The Rocky Mountain Health Plan that you cannot discriminate based on any thing but perhaps because the baby had a crooked toe presently they can get away with any restriction.
Not any more. Not in this day and age are insurance company’s allowed to decline insurance because of any condition and that should be in the underwriter’s guidelines. But insurers have been getting away with it for years now -its time for change and change is a coming.
For one thing babies are fat and lose weight as they get older and the insurance company should know this if they know anything about the human body. Babies shed their weight as they grow. Stupid insurance company.
They reversed their decision after publicity got to their doorstep and made them look as stupid as they are in their earlier denial of health coverage for a baby. The baby was white also.
The baby is a boy named Alex Colorado is only 4 months old and his mother said it was ridiculous and very frustrating dealing with Rocky Mountain Insurance. The parents Bernie and Kelli Lange were trying to get insurance for their new baby after their present insurance company raised their rates by over forty percent because they had another baby! Outrageous. No wonder everyone is losing their health care coverage with stupid insurance company’s getting away denying coverage to people.

PS. Don’t get the vaccine, your baby’s life depends on health and nutrition -not poisonous chemicals.
This is clearly what we call discrimination. Insurance companies just get away with whatever reason they have.
we can cover you, but your baby is apparently too fat make me feel bad to hear those kind of sentences.
It’s very sad to me that insurance companies neglect fat babies health care.
