Bill of Reproductive Rights Campaign for Women

Oct. 24, 2012 More than ever millions of women will be either voting their reproductive rights away in 13 days or voting to sustain the rights to their own bodies, that is their choice on November 6, 2012.

Celebs like: Kevin Bacon, Sandra Bernhard, Bill Crudup, Olympia Dukakis, Jenna Fischer, Lisa Kudrow, Amy Poehler, Kyra Sedgwick, Sarah Silverman and Meryl Streep to name a few have signed the Bill of Reproductive Rights at:

They’ve put the US government on notice, these reproductive rights are fundamental human rights not rights that a government can take away, they are inalienable rights. This means that only god gives rights and only god can take them away, not man, not a government and certainly not an unbalanced party of religious freaks.

The US Declaration of Independence outlines that rights and liberties are bestowed and no political party, no politician and no other human being can take those rights away from another person.

These safeguards are written in the US Constitution: The natural rights of a woman to her own person, her own mind and her own body including her own reproductive rights. These are not the property of nor can women’s bodies be used to fulfill some religious belief by the far right conservative republicans.

Women fought for their rights dating back to when they were “allowed” to vote back in the 1930’s and in the 1970’s women fought for Equality and Liberation from a world controlled by men that limited their pay checks, their abilities to succeed, that limited how they should think and now the rights to their bodies.

We’ve Got to Do Something. Now. All Of Us.

Pass it On.
