CNN Loses 50% of its Audience
The television networks are experiencing some major losses of their audiences as the 2012 First Quarter. The ratings drop are not really a surprise if you consider most Americans get their news and information from the internet where corporate interests are not the rule of thumb.
One typical example is that CNN consistently televised every GOP debate last year and bored the public with 21 of them, that illustrated their “Obama Bashing” comments from 10 lunatic candidates.
The next problem of CNN is televising gory pictures of horror from the Middle East, blood and guts with dead people every night on their nightly programs. America has been at war since the year 2000, you’d think CNN would pick up on that fact.
The third problem with CNN is the misrepresentation of facts for corporate interests and there are many, many examples of this when they protect drug companies, big oil and show Viagra commercials at every break. Those sponsors are the bread and butter advertisers of CNN and certainly the network has to promote their sponsors, which is against FCC regulations.
Finally, CNN likes to repeat programs over and over again, using the same segments on one program shown at one time slot and then two hours later repeating the same stuff on a 10 pm show.
CNN’s repetition of biased, slanted news stories and opinions, does not help to make them accurate.
The line up for these screw ball shows are: Elizabeth Cohen, Al Velshi, Piers Morgan, Roland Martin, just to name a few and oh yeah Anderson Cooper, the guy who laughs like a girl and attacks doctors on his show. Not an intelligent bunch.
The 2012 Ratings So Far:
March, 2012 CNN lost ground with a drop of 50% in total viewers, and down 60 % in the major age group 25 to 54 years old.
Some Complaints From The Public
The media available to consumers today, is rich with independent, choice sources of news, covering the day’s stories and give viewers a much more accurate, realistic picture of today’s events.
Not only are tv commericals selling untested drugs, viagra mainly but the content of news from one channel to another support corporate interests.
Most programs are so obvious in misinforming the public on new health findings for instance, that vitamins are attacked on the morning shows as being “unhealthy”.
Of course this was NBC’s Today Show -a typical corporate sponsored news program. The same network that hires wacky, medical experts like Dr. Nancy Snydermann who -well you had to see it to believe it when she screamed “Just get the Damn vaccine People!” “Trust Your Government-There’s no conspiracy”. You can’t get more pro-pharma than that one!
TV News Is for Corporate Interests and Are Paid Commercials
On the TV nightly news broadcasts you can expect some twisting of the facts by paid announcers and so called “experts” which are totally fabricated. Unfortunately the FCC Federal Communications Commission is asleep at the wheel instead of monitoring accuracy and broken rules in product promotions during news segments.
This has been going on for years and years and the public is much more aware of what system of television broadcasting is being delivered into their homes, trashy spun misrepresentation of the facts.
Nightline delivered over NBC’s The Tonight Show by 51,000 -in Adults 25 to 54 years of age, and over CBS’s The Late Show which came in second, and NBC Leno Show came in third.
As far as NBC’s Today Show, even Sarah Palin could not lift their ratings which only resulted in a small, tiny increase in viewers, from 5.3 to 5.4 million viewers. This disputes the fact that Fox News hired Palin “because she was hot and got ratings”, perhaps three years ago but time passed her by.
