First 100 Days of Republicans Self-Destruction

During the first 100 days of the Obama Presidency he has done more in those days than the Republicans did in 8 years.  Exactly what did the Republican Party do during that time period?

The conservatives have baptized Rush Limbaugh as their spokesperson and nominated Michael Steele as the RNC chair which is a token of their appeal to African Americans.  Dick Cheney still critically voices jabs of President Obama and Karl Rove is still involved getting air time on Fox News.
White guys dominate the Republican party and Fox News hosts the continuation of the Bush administration and nothing has changed in 100 days.

Republicans refused the stimulus package and people like Bobbie Jindal give dreadful speeches of his own refusal to accept funds for his state of Louisiana where Katrina victims still are homeless and jobless.

Republicans cut funding to vaccines and now with the swine flu traveling globally where are their priorities? Who are they serving -certainly not the safety of Americans but demand the continuation of the war in Iraq.

Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania is defecting to the Democratic Party and President Obama holds 59 votes in the Senate and one more vote he can shut down the Republicans from stopping filibusters against his agenda.

The RNC has raised enough cash to block Al Franken from taking his seat and are fighting tooth and nail to hang on to their legal battles however the Minnesota courts have declared Franken the winner.  There are no other places that the Republicans are winning any favor in the first 100 days of President Obama’s administration, although they expected Democrats to follow behind George Bush down a disastrous path that made our country weaker.

Sarah Palin continues to be a pain the side of moderate Republicans who wish she would just disappear from the political scene entirely except for Rush Limbaugh who just loves her.
Republicans have railed against taxing the rich with a funded national Tea Party that most Americans scoffed at and paid little attention. These are the Joe the Plumbers of the party that don’t like paying their taxes anyway, as Joe owes the state of Ohio for income tax and his ex wife for child support.  The Sarah Palin’s and Joe the Plumber were the heroes and role models of Senator John McCain during the election last year.

Instead the Republicans voted for less tax for the rich and new tax deductions while every GOP voted against President Obama’s Recovery bill entirely.  This includes Senator McCain who suspended his campaign to go and vote for the stimulus package of George Walker Bush.

The same old white people of George Walker Bush still run the Republican Party that led the country into a major depression and continues to thwart any attempts at a national health care plan that would cover all Americans.  Republicans have done very little to attract those who turned it away and in a minority position the exact opposite should be their policy. In fact as recently as today Senator Arlen Specter who has been a Republican for over 40 years

The first 100 days of the Republicans as the opposition have proved to be exactly the same policies of George Walker Bush -totally opposite of what the country needs to lift itself out of the economic depression and more conservative failures continue to penetrate the party of No. Republicans just don’t get it and it is quite unlikely they ever will.

As the swine flu and the H1 N1 virus stars spreading globally from Mexico causing more deaths it was the Republican cut backs in the stimulus package that has us less protected than necessary which as we know today was the wrong policy and shows their little regard for Americans.
